Application

• Intermediate for drugs (e.g. Sulfadimidine/Sulfamethazine/SM2, Sulfadimidine Sodium/ SM2-Na, Mequindox & Nicarbazine)
• For synthesizing heterocycles (isoxazoles, pyrazoles, pyrimidines, pyridines etc.)
• For preparation of metal acetylacetonates as catalysts
• Production of anti-corrosion preparations (e.g. Potassium Sorbate)
• Its peroxide is used as radical initiator for polymerisations
• Synthesis of vitamin B6 and vitamin K
• Intermediate for pesticides (e.g. fungicides, sulfonylurea-herbicides)
• the solvent of cellulose acetate, catalyst of gasoline and lubricant, the drier of paint

Uses:
